Site Civil Engineer (Registered & Accredited in Qatar) Job Summary We are seeking a Civil Engineer, officially registered and accredited by the Committee for the Registration and Classification of Engineers in Qatar, to oversee and manage construction activities directly on-site. The candidate must be Qatari-based, hold a valid Qatari driving license, and be willing to transfer sponsorship. Applicants must also provide documented proof of projects previously worked on to demonstrate their practical experience.
Key Responsibilities Supervise daily site operations, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site workers to maintain workflow and resolve technical issues. Monitor progress, quality, and safety standards on-site, reporting deviations to project management. Conduct inspections and prepare daily/weekly site reports for management and government authorities. Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local building codes. Liaise with consultants, clients, and government inspectors during site visits and approvals. Manage site resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency. Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations across all site activities.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Registered and accredited by the Committee for the Registration and Classification of Engineers in Qatar (mandatory). Minimum of 3–5 years of site-based experience in civil construction projects. Strong knowledge of Qatari construction laws, safety standards, and site management practices. Proficiency in site-related software and tools (Auto CAD, MS Project etc). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under site conditions. Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage. Must be in Qatar based, willing to transfer sponsorship, and hold a valid Qatari driving license.
