Job Purpose
The Senior Manager of Strategy Execution Office is responsible for driving hands on delivery of strategic initiatives within their assigned portfolio and ensuring disciplined execution against agreed outcomes, timelines and KPIs. Acting as the execution lead and co-pilot to Business Sponsors, the role mobilizes delivery teams, tracks progress, identifies risks, and drives issue resolution, facilitates end to end oversight of strategic initiatives to enable fast decision making while escalating material risks and dependencies to the Senior AGM & Head of Strategy Execution Office.
This role is a doer – leader hybrid: Structured, analytical, and outcome driven with the ability to step in and actively support delivery where business capacity or execution discipline is constrained. The role ensures disciplined delivery of strategic priorities across all Business Units and Support Functions by fostering enterprise-wide governance, execution cadence, and performance transparency.
Key Responsibilities
Mobilize and structure strategic initiatives within the assigned portfolio, ensuring: Clear scope, milestones, KPIs, and success metrics; And d efined ownership and accountability with Business Sponsors Drive day-to-day execution progress across initiatives, ensuring delivery against agreed plans Support Business Sponsors in translating strategic intent into executable workplans Track delivery against milestones, KPIs, and financial impact targets Drive structured discussions focused on: Progress vs plan; KPI and impact tracking; and Dependency resolution Step in to directly support or co-lead initiatives where delivery capacity, expertise, or momentum is constrained Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing guidance and support to ensure successful strategy execution. Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Banking/Commerce/Management/Strategy/Economics Master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage
Required Experience
7+ years of experience in strategy execution, transformation, or complex initiative delivery Strong exposure to banking or financial services preferred Experience working on cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives Background in management consulting, internal strategy, or transformation roles is an advantage Strong knowledge of commercial banking or financial services Proven experience operating at senior management level Prior internal strategy leadership experience strongly preferred
