Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases for payment processing systems Perform manual and automated testing across our payment platform, including online checkouts, terminal transactions, API integrations, and SDK implementations Test payment workflows end-to-end Identify, log, and track defects using standardized processes and tools, with clear prioritization based on business impact Collaborate with developers, product managers, compliance teams, and merchant support to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage Execute regression, performance, security, usability, and functional testing across web, mobile, and terminal environments Validate API responses and SDK functionality to ensure proper integration for merchants and partners Test payment transactions across multiple payment methods and integration paradigms Contribute to improving QA processes, implementing best practices, and maintaining quality standards in a regulated fintech environment Provide clear documentation and communicate findings to stakeholders, ensuring critical issues are escalated appropriately
Requirements
Essential2+ years of QA experience with web-based applications, preferably in fintech, payments, or e-commerce Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience writing detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports Familiarity with tools like Jira, Test Rail, Postman, or similar Solid understanding of APIs and ability to validate API requests/responses Understanding of payment flows, transaction processing, and common payment methods Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable results Ability to work on-premise in Doha, Qatar
Preferred Experience testing payment systems, financial applications, or POS terminals Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium Understanding of Agile development environments Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance requirements and security testing practices Experience with mobile testing (i OS/Android) for payment applications Familiarity with performance and load testing tools Basic knowledge of database validation
