Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, for a Sales Executive in the Freight Forwarding division. The Sales Executive will focus on identifying and acquiring new clients while maintaining relationships with existing customers. Core responsibilities include developing sales strategies, understanding customer needs, preparing proposals and quotations, and achieving revenue targets. Additionally, maintaining industry knowledge and ensuring customer satisfaction are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
Strong sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Comprehensive knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation methods, including air, sea, and land shipments. Marketing and business development skills, with experience in preparing proposals, pricing, and sales strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams and clients. Proactive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and a result-oriented approach to achieve sales targets. Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is considered an advantage.
