Job Summary: The Share Point Developer will design and develop Share Point-based solutions that automate business processes, and document management. The role focuses on leveraging Microsoft 365 capabilities to improve operational efficiency, governance, and compliance within a public-sector environment supporting several hundred users. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Share Point Online, Power Platform tools, and enterprise-grade automation patterns.
This is a short-term contract with immediate deployment fully onsite in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities Configure and customize Share Point Online sites, libraries, lists, and content types Implement document lifecycle automation (creation, approval, versioning, review, archiving) Enforce metadata standards, naming conventions, and document classification Design and maintain document approval workflows with multi-level routing and escalation Analyze business requirements and translate them into automated workflows Develop end-to-end business processes using Power Automate Implement request-based workflows (e.g., HR, procurement, IT, approvals) Configure SLA tracking, reminders, and exception handling Ensure workflows are resilient, auditable, and maintainable Design and develop custom forms using Power Apps Replace default Share Point forms with user-friendly, role-based interfaces Implement data validation, conditional logic, and calculations Optimize forms for desktop and mobile usage Implement role-based access control and automated permission assignment Configure Share Point site provisioning using standardized templates Automate site lifecycle management (creation, archival, deletion) Enforce governance rules, including naming conventions and ownership models Qualifications & Skills5+ years of experience with Share Point (on-prem and/or Share Point Online) Strong hands-on experience with:Share Point Online administration and development Power Automate (workflows and integrations) Power Apps (custom forms and apps) Experience with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, One Drive, Outlook) Familiarity with permissions models, governance, and compliance in Share Point Power BI reporting and dashboard development Microsoft Purview / records management features Integration with ERP or government line-of-business systems Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions Attention to detail and strong documentation skills Understanding of security, data privacy, and audit requirements Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
