UNDP works globally to reduce poverty and inequalities while advancing sustainable development. The UNDP office in Qatar, reopened in 2021, supports strategic cooperation between Qatar, UNDP, and national partners—providing policy advisory services, strengthening Qatar-funded development initiatives, and fostering multi‑stakeholder partnerships. The upcoming UNDP Strategic Plan (2026–2029) further expands collaboration and innovation efforts.
Key Responsibilities Lead implementation of UNDP Qatar’s communications strategy and manage social media. Coordinate visibility efforts, success stories, and communication materials. Support advocacy events, UN observances, and partnership engagements. Maintain accurate records of partnerships, milestones, and performance tracking. Support high‑level missions and ensure media coverage. Assist with funding agreements, proposal templates, and stakeholder outreach. Produce partnership documentation, reports, articles, and lessons learned. Support internal reporting, meeting minutes, and general office communication. Promote volunteerism and contribute to UNV knowledge products.
Profile Requirements Education: Master’s degree in communications, public information, partnership management, multimedia, or related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in communications, public information, or media relations, including hands-on experience producing social media content and short video features Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic Desirable Skills Experience with UN agencies, government partners, or development organizations. Coordination with diverse stakeholders and media partners. Experience organizing high‑level events and public campaigns.
