Role Description & Qualification Project Manager Team Leader (PMTL) will report to the Engineer and/or the Engineer’s representative. PMTL shall act also as an Advisor to APD Director with regards to MSY' projects and assets management. The Team Leader shall be qualified with a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited University, should be chartered/professional member with a reliable and certified Institute, and shall be approved by MOSY. The PMTL shall have at least twenty (20) years of post-graduation experience in building construction projects, and project management industry. The PM shall have minimum 5 years’ experience in Qatar and shall have 5 years over all experience in sports projects. The PMTL shall manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope and reviews deliverables prepared by his team before passing to MOSY by effectively applying the project methodology and enforces project standards. The Consultant team leader will be required for the whole contract period covering activities pertaining to maintenance, operation, design, construction, preparation, supply & install projects,…etc covering the projects' different stages (i.e visibility studies, tendering, awarding, execution, completion, hand-over, …etc. as prescribed in the form of contract , scope of works and all other parts of this tender documents). The Consultant team leader will schedule and attend meetings with MOSY consultants and contractors during the course of the services contract to review work progress and resolve, in collaboration with participating parties, all outstanding issues, reporting on validity or otherwise of consultants and contractors claims , etc. Proactively manage changes in project’s scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans in order to achieve project’s milestone completions. The CV of the nominee for this position must demonstrate relevant experience in management and supervision of maintenance and construction projects and shall demonstrate the necessary skills of a good leader, and he shall have excellent communication and writing skills in both English & Arabic.
