Internal Medicine Doctor (Arabic Speaker)
Job Summary The Internal Medicine Doctor is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients by diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic illnesses. The role requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while communicating effectively with Arabic- and English-speaking patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a broad range of internal medicine conditions in adult patients Conduct thorough patient assessments, examinations, and medical history reviews Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures Provide inpatient and outpatient medical care as per hospital requirements Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care clearly to patients and families in Arabic and English Coordinate patient care with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medical records Participate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage as scheduled Adhere to clinical governance, infection control, and patient safety policies Participate in continuous medical education, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine (MD, MRCP, Arab Board, American Board, or equivalent) Valid medical license or eligibility for licensing (QCHP / DHA / DOH / SCFHS or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably within Doha, Qatar (depending on Specialist or Consultant level). Previous experience in hospital or multispecialty settings preferred
