Role Description
We are seeking an IBM Guardium Specialist for an on-site position located in New Cairo. The role involves the implementation, administration, and optimization of IBM Guardium solutions to ensure the protection of critical systems and data. The specialist will monitor data security, perform vulnerability assessments, configure and tune policies, and generate compliance reports. Additionally, they will collaborate with the IT and cybersecurity teams to proactively address security issues, handle incidents, and maintain system integrity.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in IBM Guardium administration, policy configuration, vulnerability assessments, and activity monitoring. Proficiency in database security, including experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and data governance practices. Knowledge of data loss prevention (DLP) processes, user behavior analytics (UBA), and security compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS. Experience with incident response, report generation, and integrating security solutions with broader GRC responsibilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Additional experience with cloud-based security solutions is an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Info Sphere Guardium, CISSP, CISA, or CISM are highly desirable.
