Company Description Aguas de Valencia is a top-tier Spanish group in the infrastructure and facilities sector related to the comprehensive water cycle, is looking to add to a project in Qatar.
Role Description & Qualifications:
* The candidate will be integrated into the company's structure in Qatar as Department Director, tasked with coordinating the operation and maintenance of gravity and pressure networks along with stormwater systems, as well as coordinating all technical activities required under the contract assigned to them. For this, you will have the necessary human and material resources, both in the project area and from the company in Spain. Among other responsibilities, they will be in charge of providing direction and support to ensure compliance with current specifications and regulations, leading the implementation of digital tools and innovation to improve the reliability of networks and treatment plants, maintaining and supervising while also proposing and implementing solid technical standards, systems, and processes, as well as supporting energy optimization initiatives and sustainability goals.
All of this with the aim of ensuring compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and any other matters that affect the proper development and execution of the contract.
The position is aimed at a professional with over 15 years of experience in contracts and O&M and/or EPC companies, in management and/or coordination roles, especially in municipal and industrial water or wastewater treatment, and with an Engineering degree, whether Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical. High Level of fluency in English are required, with knowledge of Spanish and Arabic are being valued. Experience working in the Middle East is also considered an advantage.
