An International Engineering Consultancy Company is seeking a highly experienced Big Data Specialist to join our Asset Management project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and demonstrated success in data-driven decision-making within large-scale infrastructure or asset management environments.???? Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and optimize big data architectures and pipelines. Collect, structure, and analyze large datasets to support asset performance and lifecycle planning. Integrate data from multiple platforms and enterprise systems. Build dashboards, predictive models, and analytical tools to support operational and strategic decisions. Ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, asset management, and IT teams.???? Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Big Data, Data Engineering, or Advanced Analytics. Proven experience with big data tools/platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Azure/AWS/GCP). Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL, and BI/reporting tools. Experience working on major infrastructure, utilities, asset management, or FM projects is an advantage. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills. Prior Qatar/GCC experience preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in English language.
