Parsons is working with leading public service organizations to orchestrate large scale O&M transformation for roads activities for programs that drives Service Delivery Excellence, Operational Efficiencies, Capability Building, Change Management, and Outsource Maximization.
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented PR Manager to join our team! The PR Manager will lead and execute communication plans with a goal of creating a positive perception of the client’s services, performance, initiatives and projects. The position will require expert skill and experience in a variety of internal and external communication strategies, plus the ability to create strong relationships with impacted residents and businesses, government organizations, regulatory agencies and media
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop an understanding of the client services, performance, project, key issues, and potential stakeholders and create a public outreach and engagement plan to meet the client’s goals.
- Conduct analysis of stakeholders' needs and expectations, to develop pragmatic communication plans and tactics to effectively and efficiently engage stakeholders.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including internal communication with employees and external communication with customers and partners, in a clear, consistent and timely manner.
- Support public outreach events, including public meetings, committee meetings; attend community events.
- Represent projects and clients in public.
- Ensuring that the organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards that apply to the industry.
- Manage and mitigate any crises that arise, which involves developing and implementing action plans to address any issues and responding to negative feedback or criticism from the public.
- Manage client reputation and perception in online/ offline channels,
- Manage inquiries and concerns. Develop adequate responses.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or Journalism (or equivalent) with 15+ years of experience of managing & handling public sector PR and communications. Minimum 10 years in managerial capacity.
- Prior experience with Government Infrastructure and Public Utility Company preferred.
- Experience in managing end-to-end PR lifecycle, including media relations.
- Professional attitude and demonstrated ability to exercise excellent customer service and support, is required, as is the ability to interface effectively with a variety of people.
- Understanding of local region customs and culture preferred.
- Strong writing skills and Excellent communications skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic.

- Guide content development - Written and visual content for use in project communications, including press releases, social media posts, websites, presentations, handouts and brochures.
