An Area Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient management for the pharmacies assigned. This responsibility involves active participation in the day-to-day operations, customer care management, pharmacy management & other duties assigned.
Responsibilities
- Active supervision in the day-to-day management of pharmacy assigned in the Area including but not limited to only update of registers and the reporting of pharmacy staffs.
- Work jointly with the duty pharmacist and supervise the internal duties and responsibilities assigned to their respective team members, with close monitoring and timely reporting to reporting in charge.
- Monitor the daily performance trend of the pharmacies assigned in your area and ensure daily goals are met by the pharmacies.
- Actively participate in daily business performance including achieving goals set for Promotions, In-House product, Liquidation of near expiry products and etc.,
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and identify opportunity areas in the vicinity.
- Monitor and understand the customer complaints and suggestions to ensure our services are improved.
- Enlightening and monitoring the pharmacy staffs on the liquidation of the near expiry products.
- Responsible to undertake and coordinate to all statutory updates with the team and address all the issues like related to statutory compliance, maintenance of the records and Pharmacy.
- Ensure and supervise team regarding dispensing of correct medication and guide the team to provide effective and appropriate counseling for Patients/ customers.
- Conduct training and monitor the assigned team to improve the service delivery by ensuring a complete solution is provided for all their Pharmacy needs.
- Ensure to improve the performance of the pharmacy by encouraging the colleagues, sharing information about ideas, arranging stocks products/ medicines, new products and giving proper direction in related areas.
- Ensure the Pharmacies maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Engage and participate in programs that develop pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
Qualifications
5 Years Work Experience in similar role in GCC
MBA in Marketing or Operations with Pharm D, Masters & Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy
Or Pharm D, Masters & Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy
Willing to Relocate to Qatar if the candidate is in another GCC country.
