Supervisor: Director of HR and Administration for GCC Countries
Purpose
- Supports the HR and Admin Director in implementing and coordinating HR programs, tools, and policies in line with the HR and business strategy.
- Performs and coordinates processes on an operational basis for a multi-organization and participates in change management projects.
- Advises and supports the department leaders regarding organization development with a country perspective.
Areas of responsibility
Business & HR Transformation
- Supports the HR and Admin Director for internal/external best practices, pushes, and coordinates their implementation.
- Supports the 3-5 years HR strategy for the country
- Supports HR organization implementation
Talent Supply
- Supports and facilitates mobility within the organization
- Proposes, negotiates and finalizes pay packages with managers
- Performs integration of new hires and ensures follow-up for supervisory and rank & file positions
- Manages job description (role, skills...) at country level
High Performance Workforce
- Plans and prepares performance management campaign, and performs communication actions
- Coordinates the mid-year review
- Supports department managers in performance evaluation
- Ensures collective objectives are properly in place in the PMS Form
Leadership and Talent Development
- Ensures the deployment of HR Processes (Succession Planning, IDP, etc.) to detect, nominate and develop talents
- Supports facilitation of the competencies/skills gap analysis within the country
- Ensures all employees have an appropriate development plan in line with the gap analysis and business requirements
- Supports department managers in the People Review and Individual development interview process
- Integrates knowledge management/learning and development programs
- Coaches participants during knowledge management/learning and development programs
- Coordinates and monitors knowledge management/learning and development processes and tools
- Coordinates the logistics for training sessions
- Conducts relevant training sessions as needed
Work Environment & Employment Relationship
- Supports and participates in maintaining the Health and Safety Culture
- Promotes compliance with Code of Ethics to ensure respect for all employees and their designated representatives
- Supports and implements the employee opinion survey
- Supports the HR Director in developing action plans to address the employee opinion survey results and helps cascade the development of its implementation
- Prepares contracts of all employees based on the Qatari labour code and company policy.
- Facilitates bank accounts of all the employees
- Plans and manages the ordering of uniforms and other PPEs of all the employees.
- Answers employee questions (stress, individual inquiry)
- Supports the HR Director with Internal and External communication
People Administration Efficiency
- Manages the administration of Medical Insurance and Work Accident Insurance
- Supports the processing of refund administration (work-related injuries)
- Contributes to formulation of policies relevant to HR and Administration
Information Systems and Reporting
- Contributes to the KPI management process for HR functions
- Contributes to relevant and accurate HR reporting
- Develops and coordinates reporting procedures as well as reporting template design and adaptation
- Drives project and change management
- Performs data collection/calculations/analysis and communication
- Contributes to the development and improvement of the HRIS
Expected results
- To be able to effectively and efficiently manage the day-to-day transactions and services of Human Resources department based on the operational targets and needs of the employees;
- Performance Appraisals completed on time
- Ensure the People reviews are carried out across all employees below the Managerial levels
- Implementation of Action Plan to address employee opinion survey
- Ensure training implementation as planned.
Required Experience
- 3-4 years of supervisory experience in human resources or 5 years and up in a Generalist capacity
Education
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge in all HR Operations
- Working knowledge in Labour Laws and adept in policy-making and process orientation
- Fluent in use of computer software such as MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Fluent in use of internet
- Excellent communication and team working skill
