To transport Academy customers who have training schedules from their homes to and from the academy.
Responsibilities
- Collect Academy customers from home, ensure they are transported safely and undertake handover to members of customers at the destination.
- Pick up/ drop off other customers at pre-arranged locations on route as necessary.
- Check the vehicle prior to each mission in accordance with the vehicle checklist in operation and to report any damage, faults and concerns.
- Complete all mileage and fuel records as required after each mission.
- Drive safely and within legally prescribed limits at all times.
- Undertake to be aware of the capabilities as a driver and not drive whilst in any way unfit to do so.
- Be aware and comply with any specific requirements relative to the transport of individual service users as advised by individual care plans.
- Report to the transport supervisor or in his absence other designated staff, any concerns related to the customer being transported.
- Treat customers with respect at all times in accordance with the literature on dealing with customers.
- Comply with health and safety standards including risk assessment compilation.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of his passengers at all times.
- Understand the traffic rules and opportunity policies and ensure that duties are carried out in accordance with the policy and good practice.
- Any other related tasks requested by the management.
Qualifications
- At least 5 - 6 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
