Mindshare, MENA, part of Mindshare EMEA, spans 11 offices across markets (Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq) with local market teams and leads, reporting into the MENA CEO. In addition to the Markets, Mindshare also operates Centre of Excellence that works at a regional level to support and provide disciplines services to all 11 Markets. These Centers of Excellence include Corporate Development, Digital and Solutions, and Growth & Client Leadership.
Role context & Overview:
This is a senior position within Mindshare, where you'll have responsibility for running high-profile multinational tourism brand with services scope focused on communications planning and media campaign implementation management, by leveraging insights, analytics and strategy skillset.
There is frequent high-level client contact, and you'll be the face of Mindshare to a major client. You will lead the client relationship while also being responsible for maintaining the quality of contracted services, lobbying additional assignments as well as developing appetite for and building revenues from out-of-scope offerings and value add services.
As Client Leader, you will be tasked with supporting management for the profitable and efficient running of each account through the allocation of resources, process, and systems for the client.
Responsibilities:
- principal business partner of the client/s. Be unafraid to push back, be audacious and stand your ground in terms of ideas.
- Build client satisfaction by soliciting feedback and operating like a consultant.
- Acts as a client visionary by bringing a highly valued perspective to the client based on a deep understanding of their business, issues and opportunities.
- Overall strategic approach on the account/s designed and delivered to meet client’s business objectives and strategies.
- Oversee the implementation of the annual planning in conjunction with the client team.
- Generate and communicate a shared goal and unifies a team in the pursuit of a common objective.
- Drive additional services in areas like Content, Social, Data Partnerships and Performance Marketing.
- Ensure the team produces quality, award-winning work that demonstrates original thinking that exceed clients’ briefs, needs and expectations
- Ensure that the agency is up-to-date on aspects of media, consumer and market trends through cross media analysis and tracking the competitive marketplace, programme data and preparation of relevant case studies and appropriate team or cross function briefings and training sessions.
- Ensure account profitability and play a key role in assisting with new business activities applying original thinking to identify new media and new opportunities, creating growth and added value to existing or new business accounts.
- To recruit, develop, motivate, direct, monitor, evaluate, mentor and support reporting staff as required to fulfil the functional remit.
- The jobholder should monitor their function and to prioritise, communicate, assign or delegate responsibilities to direct reports to ensure the remit is achieving the required levels of performance and take whatever remedial action is necessary.
Experience Required
- Minimum 8 Years of client leadership experience handling offline and Digital
- Experience in handling tourism clients in top agencies is preferred
- Extensive leadership and team development experience
- Highly evolved presentation and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated experience and success working with the decision makers of organizations.
- Significant proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners.
- Shows a depth of understanding of the industry, business, brands and consumers in client conversations.
- Understands business principles and good practice and perceives issues in both financial and commercial terms.
