Qatar Technical Integration Engineer

Reporting to the in-country Qatar Technical Manager, this role is:


  • Support the Technical Manager in Supporting Products and platform Capability Insertion into the QAF CAM regulatory controlled environment
  • Support the Technical Manager in the management and delivery QAF Typhoon Operational Enterprise Safety Assessment (OESA) and its interfaces with the Operational Safety Management Plan (OSMP).
  • Support the Technical Manager in overall engineering management and assurance support for all engineering activities for Typhoon in Qatar including Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELCM).


Requirements


  • It is essential to have;
  • A strong understanding and proven delivery experience of Engineering Technical Management, its principles and application.
  • E xperience in the management of ELCM within a Project and or Engineering Function.
  • A strong grounding in Typhoon Support Engineering and Design Organisation Systems Design Responsibilities.
  • E xperience in delivery and integration of output from engineering teams and ability to effectively report to Heads of Department/ IPT leads .
  • P roven experience in supporting senior relations across multiple organisations .
  • Experience in the creation and or a management of Safety Arguments and Safety Management Plans in an Engineering or In Service environment.
  • It is desirable to have:
  • Engineering D egree or equivalent experience
  • Up to 5 years Technical experience relating to the in-service support of the Typhoon platform .
  • A grounding /experience of Military customer ( e.g. RAF/ RAFO / QAF / MoD processes.)
  • It is essential to be an effective communicator, with proven ability to influence through high impact briefings.
  • Experience in managing senior relations across multiple organisations .
  • Proven experience of representing BAE Systems with the customer and operator.
  • Effective communicator across multiple layers of BAE Systems organisation .
  • Proven ability to deliver to challenging timescales.
