As a Pastry intern you will assist in daily operations and work with customers and Guests as part of your assigned College/University project to demonstrate your abilities and gain knowledge in the hospitality industry.

What will I be doing?

Internships are an excellent way for you to gain relevant work experience and new skills that will be invaluable when you are ready to pursue your professional career upon graduating.

• Ensuring consistent great food production, in line with the high-quality standards
• Perform tasks within a timely manner
• Provide support to the Culinary & Pastry team
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy
• Prepare mis-en-place for relevant items
• Prepare and present high quality pastries within company guidelines
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
• Show awareness to the departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team
• Meet all health and hygiene requirements
