- Overseeing all 1309 design projects, from conception to delivery
- Stay up to date with the fashion industry new trends and techniques
- Creating a consistent and 1309 relevant mood board and coming up with new innovative ideas to be presented to the CEO
- Creating original 1309 prints and graphics
- Designing original pieces, including illustrations and technical sketches and technical packs.
- Giving each piece a relative name
- Suggest fabrics and embroidery techniques as well as finishings keeping final product costing in mind to maintain price within market price range
- Find solutions for unexpected production incidents
- Order material for new collection as per CEO request
- Liaise with suppliers and production team to ensure deadlines are met
- Liaise with fabric printing supplier to ensure quality and correct effective placement of the print
- Oversee the creation of the samples from pattern to toiling/finishings, fittings to final samples
- Execute and rectify sample as per CEO comments
- Prepare collection for photoshoots
- Follow up photoshoot deliverables and resizing images for website format
- Create a product on 1309 website and upload its images and video
- Write descriptions for website that help clients make a purchase decision
- Assist team on all special projects specially during exhibition times
- Come up with effective strategy to increase the production capacity
- Conduct a monthly assessment to production (tailor/hand embroidery/machine embroidery etc…) and present a monthly report to the manager
- Teach and train production team
- Maintain a healthy and effective production space
- Suggest material/machinery that helps make production process more effective
- Keep a log of all production related machinery to insure they are in good condition at time
- Go through orders input in production- highlight any missing information needed from Sales team – put input in effective order to go into production
- Supervise production output and quality of products
- Conduct sudden detailed quality checks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
