Package Delivery Lead

Brunel - Qatar - Doha
Reporting to the Head of Topsides Execution for the delivery of the NFXP Offshore Topsides package equipment and the Building integration (Control & Auxiliary Module, High Voltage & Temporary Refuge buildings).

Advise in the implementation and completion of the EPCI scope(s) of work and key milestones, responsible for site delivery and monitoring of packages; through the equipment/material procurement delivery, and any subcontract awards required to execute the packages through to final delivery execution phase, from their design through to yard commissioning activities and sign-off.

Initially mobilised in Doha for detailed design and procurement and then assigned to the QFAB Fabrication yard for fabrication, integration, testing and completion.

Co-ordinate activities through the execution phase, from their design through to yard commissioning activities and sign-off are in-line with the package schedule(s), including the management of both technical & physical interfaces (and integration) across multi-disciplines.

Your Tasks

  • Evaluate that the packages equipment and buildings execution are in-line with project expectations, in regard to quality, HSE, specifications, and schedule;
  • Check the packages and building equipment/material delivery at the yard in accordance with the latest ROS dates; Develop coordination and expediting with the Main Design/Procurement Office and the yard teams;
  • Analyse readiness of the related subcontracts related to buildings (HVAC, Architectural) are in accordance with the latest ROS dates; Support coordination and expediting with the Main Design/Procurement Office and yard teams;
  • Ensure OS&D inspection are performed at yard for package and monitor/support EPC contractor timely resolution of any S&D with Vendors;
  • Coordinate and check timely mobilisation of Vendors and subcontractors at the yard for installation, SAT and commissioning for package and buildings; Check punch list in ICAPS and ensure procurement and tracking of all required material by EPC Contractor and Vendors to allow timely completion;
  • Facilitate building integration and identification of transverse issues across multi-disciplines (Structural, Instrumentation, Electrical, Loss Prevention, HVAC and architectural), counsel in coordinating resolution with Company disciplines, as directed by Head of Engineering and Head of Execution;
  • Co-ordinate the timely fabrication completion of the buildings: review organisation of EPC Contractor, buildings subcontractors, building execution plan and buildings related subcontracts SoW to ensure their completeness to address interfaces, integration and seamless delivery of the buildings; Evaluate performance during fabrication/execution;
  • Advise The Head of Topsides Execution and Construction Manager with buildings’ risk identification and propose mitigation;
  • Evaluate input for the weekly and monthly reports;
  • Analyse EPC package execution schedule(s) & report progress, working with EPC CONTRACTOR to identify delays and propose recovery plans as necessary to the Head of Topsides Execution.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum 10yrs experience with Offshore Facilities (particularly wellhead platform, production platform, accommodation platform, living quarter module, construction) design, procurement, fabrication, construction & commissioning work phases; Including experience in EPC execution of Buildings/ Living Quarter within the offshore oil and gas industry; wellhead platforms, production platforms, accommodation modules and FPSO accommodation blocks, etc;
  • Experience in fabrication yards of SE Asia and a comprehensive knowledge of Industry standards;
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
