Raytheon is seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) electronics box assemblies, RF electronics, high-power distribution assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies. Requires travel. This position is located in Doha Qatar

Evaluates failed electrical assemblies, products, and components, software through the use of test and measurement equipment towards successful troubleshooting to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on RF test and evaluation hands-on experience.

Works closely with senior test technicians, manufacturing associates, Engineering, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes.

Maintains control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes - works with various groups towards ensuring full compliance.

Strong Work Ethic and self-motivation - with emphasis on meeting deliverable schedules

Requirements:

4 years of applicable experience

Strong electrical/electronic evaluation/trouble-shooting skills

Intimate knowledge on use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF equipment, etc.

Strong Work Ethic

Must be a US Citizen with current/active SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE

Desired Skills:

Proficiency on MS applications (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical repair or related field. May substitute experience for education. (i.e., Associate’s Degree or technical school with focus on electrical repair plus 4 years of experience, no degree plus 10 years of electrical repair experience).

Additional Information:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
