Experience
- Minimum 7 years of regional/international experience in the design of Dry Utilities (Electrical).
- We are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal, communication and excellent report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with CAD (Civil 3D) and other PC software packages typically associated with Dry services engineering is also required.
Educational Qualifications
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Professional Certifications
- UPDA registered.
- PMP is additional credit, if any.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Excellent experience in the design of Street Lighting for all types of roads, ROW, Lighting Calculations in Dialux, SLDs, Load schedules, landscape lighting branch wiring etc.
- Excellent experience in lighting simulation for street lighting, outdoor lighting, and landscape lighting using Dialux Evo latest version.
- Experience in preparing lighting presentations.
- Design right of way cross sections for dry utilities
- Understanding from the Concept master plan stage to the Detailed Master Plan in terms of utility corridor space proofing, ROW, and utility requirements and developing Master plan calculations and reports.
- Infrastructure engineering background with previous experience in infrastructure projects
- Experience in the detailed design of substations, feeder pillars, MV, LV networks, and calculations. Knowledge of the latest software, like Civil 3D, ETAP etc., is preferred.
- Coordination with other disciplines such as wet, roads, transportation, landscape, and building teams.
- Preparation of technical specifications and design reports. Shall be conversant with the international codes as well as Local Codes and Utility Company regulations in GCC for the design of infrastructure related systems.
- Shall have experience of liaising with local Authorities for obtaining NOCs and Design Approvals, etc.
- Maintains awareness of the project electrical specifications, drawings, and design criteria.
- Provides regular reports on progress to the Lead Infrastructure Design Engineer.
- Flexible to work extra hours to finalize the tasks.
