Department: Safety & Occupational Health Department, HSE&Q Group

Job Purpose: Ensure a safe and environmentally compliant work environment for all personnel at Company facilities, supporting safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for safety equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspection, testing, and maintenance of fixed and portable equipment.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs on SEQ principles and practices.
  • Monitor and support maintenance and construction crews to ensure compliance with SEQ requirements under the permit to work system.
  • Provide guidance during major accidents or emergencies, conduct incident investigations, and prepare reports.
  • Supervise safety, environment, and quality technicians to ensure work meets standards.
  • Coordinate inventory management of safety and emergency equipment and protective clothing.
  • Contribute to formulating, developing, and implementing safety programs, recommending improvements, and maintaining safety documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent.


Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of diverse experience in safety operations within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficient in written and oral English.
  • Computer literacy with strong interpersonal, analytical, and planning skills.


Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards and regulations.
  • Competency in planning and organizing safety initiatives.
  • Ability to supervise and coach others in safety procedures.
