Job Responsibilities

  • Managing the procurement process to ensure the acquisition of quality goods, services, and materials at competitive prices to support organization's operations.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Must be good with networking and possess excellent time-management skills.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable procurement policies, legislation, and ethical standards

Skills required:

  • Minimum 3 to 4 years purchase experience related to building maintenance materials in the local market.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
  • Must have Qatar Driving License and familiar with the locations.
  • Preference for locally available candidates with transferable residence permit only.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Purchasing: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Qatar Driving License (Required)
