If this sounds like you, join our team in Doha as a Java Full-Stack software engineer and take part in an exciting project for global financial services company. Within this role, you’ll be working in Qatar with cross-dependencies to Switzerland and Manila, being part of an agile pod.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend software for various regulatory reporting products at the newest standards
- Understand and work with the team to develop different tools to support our regulatory reporting teams with technical applications to gain efficiency
- Integrate frameworks with Continuous Integration, Deployment, and Testing pipelines
- Support and develop proof-of-concepts and pilots with newest technology standards for our regulatory reporting products
- Collaborate on incident management, problem analysis, quality and control
- Collaborate with other global IT teams
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in modern Frontend development, React.js, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS
- Hands on experience in Java, Spring, Spring boot and related framework
- Strong database skills, experience with DB2, PostgreSQL or Oracle
- Strong understanding of the principles of Object Orientation Programming and design
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently within a diverse and fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Cloud experience, preferable Azure
- Experience in SCRUM, agile development methodology, and test driven development is an added advantage
- Experience with CI build chain GitLab, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Web Apps and Web Services (Tomcat, Apache) is an added advantage
