- Minimum of 15 years of experience in marine civil engineering, with a strong background in port and coastal facilities planning and design, particularly in oil and gas industry. Candidates must demonstrate comprehensive understanding of port planning, facility layouts, and ship operations. Candidates must have hands on experience in managing mooring analysis or hydrodynamic studies related to port and coastal engineering projects. Candidates should also be proficient in relevant software tools and modelling techniques used port and coastal facilities planning and design.
- In depth knowledge of regulations and industrial standards related to port developments such as ISO, OCIMF, PIANC, ISGOTT, ASCE, ACI, AASHTO, and Qatar National Construction Standards.
- Proven experience in managing or coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in large scale engineering projects with a focus in engineering delivery.
- Familiarity with project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, contracting, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with external contractors and consultants
- Fluent in verbal and written English language with excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications or license is preferred.
