Reporting and Schedule Specialist

  • Member of the project's Business team, reporting to the Head of Business. The role is to ensure that the Project maintains a high level of excellence in reporting at all levels, and ensures the maintenance of an overall Offshore schedule and interfaces with both the Offshore and Projects to update and progress the overall schedule.
  • Leads efforts to ensure the project reporting is executed in accordance with expectations. During Execution phase this role will liaise directly with the Business departments of both Offshore and Projects.
  • Accurately and Professionally develop and issue reports and provide adhoc analysis reports incorporating various project directives.
  • Prepares all required data for weekly, monthly and periodic reports.
  • Develop, produce and co-ordinate all input related to the integrated schedule preparation and issue. Provides support to the Head of Business on all reporting and overall integrated schedule related issues/matters.
  • Support and encourage team activities and requirements relating to reporting and scheduling
  • Provide support and works effectively in a complex multinational and multi-cultural environment
  • Develop effective working relationships with all Offshore Projects and Operating companies


Your Tasks


  • Responsible for developing and preparing standard reporting tools for the weekly, monthly, and periodic reporting for the overall Offshore project and communicating highlights to Senior Management and Shareholders.
  • Ensures the input related to the integrated schedule is completed in a timely and efficient manner, including all updates, changes and modifications.
  • Ensures the progress from the individual EPCI contractor’s is correctly input into reporting process; provides feedback to Offshore Projects Business teams in relation to any changes or updates to reporting requirements.
  • Acts as a temporary replacement for site based scheduling personnel if required.
  • Coordinates the Offshore project milestone inputs to WP&B in line with corporate requirements.
  • Ensures all schedule impacts relating to changes, modifications or alternative options are correctly captured in periodic reports.
  • Responsible for highlighting schedule issues to Offshore Business Manager.
  • Provides support to the Head of Business on reporting and scheduling issues.
  • Assists the specialist in the update of the overall Offshore Project risk registers and other reports.


Your Profile


  • BA or BSc , professional qualification or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 8 (8) years broad experience in all project phases i.e. engineering, procurement and construction. Worldwide experience with IOCs, Contractors and Vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of offshore facilities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good supervisory skills.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong skills using MS Office.
  • Strong skills in using MS Project, Primavera and Pertmaster or similar.
