Primary purpose of job

This position requires an experienced technical engineer to be able to maintain and support medium to large systems related to Industrial Cities in the Energy sector. This position also requires end user management, business analysis, contract, and vendor management. The engineer will be responsible for systems support, he/she must ensure the system/solutions continues to work with no issue as to not hinder business continuity.

Experience & Skills

• 6+ years of experience in technical support, project delivery, and system administration is required, along with the ability to demonstrate skills such as analytical thinking, methodical problem-solving, and an open-minded approach to learning and utilizing new business technology
• Extensive knowledge of organizational procedures and policies, with a steadfast commitment to strict compliance. Additionally, possessing an excellent understanding of the distinctive business requirements and processes specific to Industrial Cities.
• Expertise in providing proficient support for ICT applications utilized in industrial cities within the Energy sector, specifically in the Oil & Gas industry

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field in Engineering or Business
• Technical certifications in areas such as Cloud, enterprise architecture, ITIL, etc. is preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred
