We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Supervisor/Site Coordinator with expertise in logistics and shipping clearance to oversee our warehouse operations and coordinate site activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of warehouse activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and managing shipping processes in compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Supervise to installation team about day to day activities and follow up with them.
- Ensure the efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources to optimize inventory management.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries, preparing shipping documents, and liaising with freight forwarders and carriers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse staff.
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and meet customer requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and shipping, and recommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, and shipping, preferably in the Qatar market.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external clients and shipping agents.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with Qatar's customs regulations, import/export procedures, and shipping documentation requirements.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Preference will be given holding NOC transferable QID.
