Administrator – IT & Infrastructure Management


We have a challenging opportunity for the role of Administrator in our IT Support team based out of Bahrain. The role requires working with multiple internal clients on high important day-to-day IT-related issues.

The candidate should be comfortable communicating with internal clients and business leaders in order to understand concepts and prepare suitable thought leadership documents. Able to provide constructive solutions and value add to teams on IT-related matters.The primary responsibility of the position, of Administrator (IT & Infrastructure Management), is to effectively manage IT infrastructure systems across our offices spread across GCC and India.



Indicative deliverables include:



– Installation, configuration, and maintenance/administration of Desktops, laptops, and Servers running MS Windows.

– Respond to requests for computer assistance from staff experiencing problems with hardware, software, and networking.

– Monitor, and maintain O365, Active Directory, MS Exchange related services, File Services, Server Infrastructure, WAN/LAN/WLAN supporting business-critical systems.

– Ensure performance, reliability, and transparency of all aspects of infrastructure elements.

– Implementing Security and User Policies for local systems.

– Identify new Laptop Requirement, O365 Subscription

– Configure & maintain Microsoft Exchange e-mail accounts.

– Be accountable for measuring and optimizing application and infrastructure performance, and to initiate and leading recovery actions after system failures.

– Monitor and maintain infrastructure stability (KPIs).

– Prepare and maintain documentation of IT Infrastructure.

– Maintain Infrastructure equipment inventory and manage hardware life-cycle.

– Establish and/or maintain corporate IT infrastructure standards in regard to configuration and security.

– Make sure IT governance, audit and compliance requirements are met.


Core Competencies:


– Strong Understanding of Manage Engine Ticketing, Asset Management, and Reporting

– Strong Understanding of O365, Infrastructure architecture, network, Information Security, Peripherals, Printers, Antivirus (Symantec Endpoint Security), and Operating Systems (a strong understanding of Windows).

– Customer service oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral & written)

– Familiarity with Networking, IP Telephony, and Wireless products/solutions.


Desired Profile:


– Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred with 4-7 years of experience in IT.

– Experienced in contract and vendor management – Preferred.

– IT-related certifications (Microsoft, ITIL).

– Should have excellent communication skills in English.

– Stakeholder Management.
