We are hiring for an experienced
Single Point Mooring (SPM) Supervisor - Loading Operations for a PERMANENT role for an oil and gas operating company based in
Ras Laffan, Qatar
Ideal candidate should have
- High school graduate followed by relevant vocational training programme.
- 10 years’ experience in Loading process operations within the oil and gas industry.
- 5 years of supervisory experience will be added advantage
- Operate independently during assigned Ship Loading and referring to immediate line manager in case of non-routine issues.
- Decision and recommendation on major issues are referred to the Head of Non-LNG Loading and in certain cases extensive to Head of Non-LNG Storage.
- Liaise with Shipping Agents, Shipping department, Port Authorities, and facility end-users for coordination of ship berthing, cargo loading and sailing and maintains the record of the same. Liaise with cargo surveyors attending vessel loading to protect the interests of the Company, RLTO and Owners.
- Monitor the positioning of the ship when moored to ensure the ship’s position is safe for loading operations. Ensure correct mooring configuration, carry out inspection of the ship and its equipment as per the OCIMF ship/shore check list. Conduct preloading meetings with ship Master / Chief Officer and plans cargo to ensure safe loading operation and make agreement on emergency plans.
