Eram Talent is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Procurement/Subcontract Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will support the procurement processes for various projects while liaising with subcontractors and suppliers. You will help ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials and services to meet project specifications and requirements.
Responsible to the Procurement Manager, Responsible for the preparation and implementation of Procurement Strategy and Procurement Plan. Complete the preparation and maintenance of Procurement Status Report and report to the Procurement Manager regularly, be responsible for communication with suppliers, identify inefficiencies in the supply chain, and make rationalization recommendations to improve the overall supply chain efficiency, and complete other tasks arranged by Procurement Managers.Work includes materials and subcontracting.
Work Tasks:
- Prepare and Send RFQ packages to bidders advised by Procurement Manager;
- Expedite submission of bids to ensure they are received on time as per bid submission dates or extended bid submission time as needed;
- Coordinate responses to Vendor clarifications pre-offer, wherever appropriate;
- Organize meetings with bidders and other disciplines as necessary
- Perform commercial evaluation of bids and prepare the Recommendation for Award for approval for placement of Letter of Intent / Purchase Order
- Maintain procurement status report, accurate for submission to Procurement Manager
- Prepare relevant documents during the procurement process as required by the project Client
Requirements
- Professional Qualification : Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering degree
- Professional Knowledge and skills : Familiar with Supply Chain Management progress, local laws and regulations as well as international industry standards, etc.
- Experience : More than 3 years' experience in procurement/subcontract or related work in the oil and gas industry
- ship chartering is a Plus

- Fluent in spoken and written English;
- Good organization, cooperation, communication and judgment skills;
- Ability to prepare and organize project meetings;
- Proficiency use of office software, such as Microsoft Office、Adobe Acrobat etc.;
