Job Description:

As the Finance Manager for our group of companies, you will have a multifaceted role, combining leadership in financial management with strategic analysis and portfolio management responsibilities. You will oversee the finance department's day-to-day operations while also guiding the group's investment strategy to maximize returns and mitigate risks.


Financial Management:

  • Lead and manage the Finance department, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions across all subsidiaries.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial health of the group, providing timely insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial performance and achieve strategic objectives.


Strategic Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and market trends.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing financial expertise to drive growth initiatives and optimize resource allocation.


Portfolio Management:

  • Manage the group's diversified investment portfolio encompassing real estate, bonds/sukuk, Sharia-compliant instruments, and both public and private equity.
  • Conduct rigorous financial modeling and valuation analyses to evaluate investment opportunities, ensuring informed decision-making on asset allocation and risk management.
  • Monitor portfolio performance closely, identifying trends and risks, and implementing strategic adjustments as needed to optimize returns.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with external investment managers, brokers, and stakeholders to foster collaborative partnerships and maximize portfolio effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation skills to articulate comprehensive analyses and strategic recommendations to the management team, facilitating informed decision-making and alignment with organizational objectives.


Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, empowering them to fulfill their responsibilities effectively and achieve their professional goals.
  • Promote a positive work environment based on integrity, accountability, and transparency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in financial management, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and contribute to organizational growth initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of investment principles and portfolio management techniques.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365) systems and financial modeling software
