Technical Support for Fire Safety

Join our Smart Infrastructure Building Products Business unit as Technical Sales Support and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales and Presales personnel of partners in product selection and value engineering
- Support the distribution partners to specify products, submittal approval/comments etc.
- Conduct technical training for selection, engineering and trouble shooting.
- Provided commissioning support or support in troubleshooting at site if required
- Work with regional technical support team on expanding the support and sharing expertise across the region.
- Develop competencies of sales and technical personnel's of partners.
- Generate activity reports and analysis of frequent support requests.
- Develop customized technical trainings for local channel partners.
- Deliver technical workshops and training sessions for partners.
- Manage technical inquiries from partners, resolving issues and logging them for future reference.
- Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and validated warranty claims.
- Maintain the accuracy and timeliness of technical support documentation.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!
- University Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
- 5-8 years’ experience in engineering role in fire safety industry (manufacturer or partner)
- In-depth knowhow in design and commissioning of fire detection and suppression systems
- Flow Calculations for fire suppression systems.
- Knowledge of support ticket processing is preferred.
- Troubleshooting and system engineering capabilities.
- Understanding of international codes and standards in the fire alarm and/or fire extinguishing industry (e.g. NFPA and EN) and with the local civil defense regulations
- Eager, critical thinker and quick learner
- Confident, well-organized team player who can also work well independently
- Self-starter, ready to go the extra mile and get the job done
- Fluent English language skills, Arabic language is preferred.
