Job Title: Senior Relationship Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Relationship Manager to join our Wealth Management team. The successful candidate will possess a strong portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and demonstrate the ability to raise significant capital, specifically in the millions of Qatari Riyals, for the syndication of bespoke investment products. The role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and the unique needs of affluent clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Portfolio Management:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients, building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Provide personalized investment solutions tailored to the financial goals and risk appetites of each client.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Fundraising and Syndication:
- Lead initiatives to raise substantial capital from HNW and UHNW clients, targeting multi-million Qatari Riyal investments for the syndication of a variety of investment products, including private equity, real estate, and structured products.
- Develop and present customized investment opportunities to clients, leveraging the bank's suite of products and services.
- Collaborate with internal product teams to structure and execute syndications that meet the needs of both the bank and its clients.
Market and Investment Expertise:
- Stay informed on global financial markets, economic trends, and investment products to provide informed advice to clients.
- Identify emerging investment opportunities and risks, and proactively communicate these insights to clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure all client activities are compliant with local and international regulations.
Business Development:
- Actively seek new business opportunities by leveraging personal networks, attending industry events, and engaging in strategic marketing initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategies to onboard new HNW and UHNW clients, expanding the bank’s market share in the wealth management sector.
- Work closely with the Head of Wealth Management to set and achieve targets for client acquisition and asset growth.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on client portfolio performance, fundraising activities, and market conditions.
- Ensure all client interactions, agreements, and transactions are accurately documented and maintained in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related field, with a focus on HNW and UHNW clients.
- Proven track record in raising significant capital from HNW and UHNW clients, particularly for investment products.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and wealth management products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with affluent clients.
- CFA, CFP, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
