Purpose of Role:
Imagine being the bridge between cutting-edge technology and our customers' needs. As a Presales Engineer, you’ll be the tech expert who listens, understands, and provides the perfect solutions. You'll guide our clients through complex decisions, showing them the best products to match their unique requirements. Your role? To make the tech world understandable, accessible, and totally cool.
Accountability & Responsibilities of Role:
- Tech Translator: You’ll receive inquiries from customers and translate their needs into tech solutions. Your expertise will help them choose the right products.
- Solution Architect: Collaborate with the sales team to create detailed technical and commercial proposals that make our clients say, "Yes, that’s exactly what we need."
- Client Whisperer: Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring they always feel supported and informed. You’re their go-to for all things tech.
- Event Explorer: Attend vendor events to stay ahead of the game. You’ll bring back the latest knowledge on new products and innovations to share with the team.
- Sales Sidekick: Support the sales team during technical presentations, making the complex simple, and the technical, tangible.
- Pipeline Manager: Keep tabs on all job pipelines and reporting. You’ll own the process from inquiry to closure, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Presentation Pro: Help create and deliver customer presentations that make a lasting impression.
- Test Driver: Perform Proof of Concept (POC) testing, ensuring that proposed solutions work seamlessly in real-world scenarios.
Position Requirement:
- 3-5 years in presales or a related role, ideally with knowledge of storage solutions, CCTV systems, and data solutions. If you know Huawei products, that’s a bonus.
- An engineering or IT-related degree is required. You’re the expert who knows how to turn technical knowledge into practical solutions.
- Deep understanding of tech products and the ability to explain them to others. You’re not just selling; you’re educating.
- You’re all about customer satisfaction. Building strong relationships and solving their problems is what drives you.
- You’re curious and always learning, whether it’s through vendor events or staying on top of the latest tech trends.
- Collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with the sales team, supporting them every step of the way.
