Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Service new and existing HNW clients relationships in the region by providing them with the full suite of financial services products and services
- Develop a business plan to acquire new client relationships as well as broadening existing client relationships
- Achieve sales targets in line with best practice standards of services and act as a “Trusted Advisor” to the elite clientele: 1) Investment Advisory: Advising clients related to specific products and services. 2)Portfolio Advisory: Advising clients with regards to overall portfolio construction based on asset allocation methodology.
- Have all clients’ files updated and ensure that all documents related to client are available in order to comply to KYC and AML Regulations.
- Develop comprehensive customized financial plans based on client risk profiles
- Continuous monitoring of client portfolios (quarterly reviews and annual rebalancing)
- Research competitive offering and solicit client feedback for new product ideas
- Escalate customer suggestions/ concerns to the Country/ Region Head
- Provide the highest level of customer service to clients (proactive calls and visits) in order to have clients ownership
- Retain Client ownership (strong knowledge of client account, transactions and all issues related to client)
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
- Relevant professional certification (eg. CF21 “Investment Advisor”, CFA) is a plus
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in Banking experience with at least 2 years in Relationship Management and sales of financial/ investment products with a leading international/ regional private bank. Also, proven record of building relationships and closing business
Competencies:
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Excellent communication, networking and selling skills
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and listening skills
- Good knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments and investment management
- Sound understanding of market dynamics/ trends and internal/ external policies and controls regulations
- Ability to provide financial solutions to sophisticated clients
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
