Key Responsibilities:
Investment Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Assess market trends, economic indicators, and industry dynamics in the GCC region to support investment decisions.
Deal Support:
- Assist in the origination, structuring, and execution of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and other advisory services.
- Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal review and client presentations.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, providing ongoing analysis and recommendations for portfolio optimization.
- Support the development and implementation of exit strategies to maximize returns on investments.
Market Research & Industry Analysis:
- Perform in-depth research on specific industries, companies, and competitors within the GCC region.
- Keep abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and economic conditions in the region to inform investment strategies.
Client Interaction:
- Collaborate with senior bankers to maintain and strengthen client relationships, providing analytical support and responding to client inquiries.
- Participate in client meetings, pitches, and negotiations, contributing to the overall success of transactions.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members, including associates and vice presidents, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on financial analysis, modeling, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field, with a focus on the GCC market.
- Strong track record of supporting successful investment transactions and analysis in the region.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CFA or equivalent are a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Language:
- Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Arabic is highly preferred.
