We are currently searching for a Community Specialist who would be responsible for all types of communications with our users and potential customers across different social platforms.


  • Provide front-line engaging communication with the audience in English and Arabic (Qatari dialect) across digital platforms (social media, maps and listings) according to guidelines
  • Improve community management guidelines and social media content plan using audience insights, as well as best practices and cultural landscape
  • Improve quality of customer support across digital platforms
  • Contribute to content grid across social media (preferable experience in TikTok and Snapchat, and social media video content)
  • Constantly update reports and knowledge base


Skills

  • Practical social media experience, including extensive experience of supporting and developing communities
  • Deep understanding of community principles across social media platforms: Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram
  • Ability to convert current social media trends and local society agendas into content
  • Very good copywriting skills
  • High level of motivation and ability to approach tasks proactively
  • Experience working with video-content, for example with TikTok and Snapchat
  • Fluent English, both writing and speaking


Conditions

  • Long-term employment with QIC with 3 months probation period
  • Full-time onsite/hybrid from our office in Doha, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3
  • We are diverse — we have both colleagues working remotely and onsite
  • Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 workdays of vacation, and 10 sick-day-offs
  • Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
