Night Auditor

As a Night Auditor at our prestigious 5-star hotel in Ashrafieh, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment during the nighttime hours. You will be responsible for overseeing all overnight operations, including reconciling daily transactions, managing guest inquiries, and maintaining security protocols to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Conduct nightly audits of all hotel financial transactions, including room charges, food and beverage sales, and other miscellaneous revenues. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Prepare daily reports for management summarizing revenue and expense data.

Guest Services: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift. Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and address any inquiries or concerns they may have. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.

Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including processing reservations, assigning rooms, and managing room inventory. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues that arise.

Security and Safety: Monitor security cameras and patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property. Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents, including medical emergencies, disturbances, or security breaches. Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Administrative Tasks: Complete various administrative tasks during the night shift, including data entry, filing, and preparing paperwork for the next day's operations. Assist with night audit procedures and ensure all required documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other hotel staff, including management, housekeeping, and maintenance teams. Relay important information and updates to ensure seamless coordination across departments.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office applications.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
