We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for a US Army project in Kuwait. This project involves the installation of a 700KW solar PV system and a 1500KW BESS. The Electrical Engineer will work on various electrical systems and integration tasks.
Duration: 30 months (potential extension for another 30 months)
Start Date: September 2024
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement power plant control and communication systems.
- Oversee the installation of the AC combiner switchboard and BESS shade canopy.
- Manage power distribution system site work.
- Integrate solar PV and BESS systems with existing infrastructure.
- Coordinate installation of the step-down transformer and new 1.5 MW diesel generator.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer on large-scale energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
