Position: Technical Catalog Product Modeler Location: Riyadh- Saudi Arabia Job Description: The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and detailed digital models of our products for use in technical catalogs and other marketing materials. The Technical Catalog Product Modeler will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure that all product specifications and details are accurately represented in the digital models. Responsibilities:1. Model Creation: Develop detailed digital models of company products using industry-standard software tools and techniques. Ensure that models accurately represent the physical attributes, dimensions, materials, and features of each product.2. Data Integration: Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to gather product specifications, CAD files, technical drawings, and other relevant data required for modeling. Integrate this data into the digital models to ensure accuracy and completeness.3. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks of digital models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards and specifications. Address any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.4. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all digital models, including version control, metadata, and relevant information. Document any changes or updates made to models and ensure that documentation is easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, design, and marketing, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality digital models that meet their needs.6. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about advancements in modeling techniques, software tools, and industry standards. Continuously improve modeling processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality. Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or related field.2. Proven experience in 3 D modeling and visualization, with proficiency in industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Solid Works, or similar tools.3. Strong understanding of product design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meticulously review and validate digital models.5. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.6. Familiarity with product data management (PDM) systems and CAD software is a plus.7. Portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating proficiency in product modeling and visualization.
