Job Title: Plumber and Carpenter

Location: Dubai

Responsibilities:

1. Plumbing Tasks:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances such as pipes, faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, and water heaters.
• Identify plumbing issues and perform diagnostics to determine the cause of leaks, clogs, or other problems.
• Carry out pipe fitting, soldering, welding, and brazing to connect pipes and fixtures.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on multi-disciplinary projects requiring plumbing expertise.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls and perform repairs or replacements as needed.

1. Carpentry Tasks:

• Construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, fixtures, and components such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry projects accurately.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, join, and finish wood and wood-based materials.
• Perform measurements, calculations, and layout work to ensure precision and accuracy in carpentry projects.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn wooden structures, components, and finishes, including framing, trim work, and cabinetry.
• Work with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate carpentry tasks within larger renovation or construction projects.
• Uphold safety standards and regulations while operating tools and equipment and working on job sites.

Skills

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a plumber and carpenter, with a minimum of 3 years in each trade.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, codes, and regulations, as well as experience in diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues.
3. Strong carpentry skills including proficiency in framing, finishing, cabinetry, and trim work, as well as experience with a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for both plumbing and carpentry projects.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
6. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
7. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor involved in plumbing and carpentry tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. ( not required / preffered )
