Role Purpose H’Collective Architecture and Interiors is seeking a Senior Design Architect to shape architectural concepts, develop compelling design presentations, and guide the creative direction of multiple project teams from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who builds strong client relationships, communicates complex design ideas clearly, and collaborates with senior management to pursue new business opportunities. Success in this role requires outstanding design ability, demonstrated experience leading architectural projects, and a commitment to mentoring designers and strengthening the capabilities of the architectural team.
Key Responsibilities Lead architectural assignments through all project stages, including concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration. Provide strategic design guidance to support effective project planning, production and delivery. Coordinate closely with internal teams, external consultants and specialist partners to achieve integrated project outcomes. Collaborate with team members to explore and refine design options through 3D modeling and visualization, using Revit, Sketch Up, Enscape or equivalent software alongside Adobe Creative Suite. Shape the creative direction of proposals and develop presentation strategies for project interviews to help secure new opportunities. Mentor junior designers and support the design leadership of multiple projects, working closely with architectural and technical colleagues. Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsive support and consistent design delivery. Champion collaboration across disciplines, teams and the wider practice to strengthen H’Collective Architecture and Interiors’ commitment to design quality and excellence.
Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Minimum 10 years of relevant architectural and design experience, with a strong portfolio spanning different building types and project scales. Ability to present architectural concepts clearly and explain the reasoning behind design decisions. Ability to respond to client requirements, budget parameters, site opportunities and project constraints while maintaining a cohesive design approach. Sound understanding of sustainable design and universal design principles. Proficiency in Revit, Sketch Up, D5 & Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop) is required. Proficiency in Rhino, Maya & Enscape is an advantage. Strong graphic presentation and visualization skills to communicate design ideas effectively. Ability to build productive working relationships with colleagues, clients, consultants and other project stakeholders.
