Role brief description
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define, govern, and drive the target-state architecture for a complex enterprise ecosystem spanning multiple cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and evolving a secure, scalable, and resilient architecture based on cloud-native microservices, API-led integration, and the gradual modernization of legacy platforms. The role requires balancing business agility, regulatory compliance, security constraints, and interoperability with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
The Enterprise Architect will work closely with business executives, security teams, solution architects, cloud providers, delivery teams, and external organizations to establish architecture standards, govern implementation decisions, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise target architecture and technology roadmap.
- Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance processes across the organization.
- Lead architecture review boards and design authority forums.
- Drive alignment between business strategy, digital transformation objectives, and technology investments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations regarding adoption.
- Design and govern enterprise solutions spanning:
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Define cloud placement strategies based on:
- Regulatory requirements
- Data residency constraints
- Performance requirements
- Security classification
- Cost optimization
- Establish cloud interoperability patterns and integration standards across providers.
- Develop cloud governance frameworks covering security, operations, FinOps, and resilience.
- Define enterprise patterns for:
- Microservices architecture
- Containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- Service Mesh
- Event-driven architectures
- API Management
- Ensure scalability, observability, resiliency, and operational supportability.
- Promote DevSecOps and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption across engineering teams.
