Job description

Carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Perform cable laying, glanding, termination, testing, and commissioning activities.
Inspect and maintain motors, MCCs, distribution boards, transformers, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
Use electrical testing instruments such as multi meters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
Follow PTW, LOTO, JSA, toolbox talks, and applicable HSE procedures.
Maintain proper records of maintenance and inspection activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 year of relevant experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, industrial, or shutdown projects.
  
• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  
• Good experience in electrical installation, maintenance, cable glanding, termination, and troubleshooting.
  
• Knowledge of LV electrical systems, motors, MCCs, control panels, and industrial electrical equipment.
  
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and Oil & Gas HSE requirements.
  
• Valid QID is required.
  
• Relevant Oil & Gas certifications / site approvals will be an advantage.
  
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
