Position: Environmental Geologist Location: Qatar Onshore Duration: 18 months Expected Start: November/December 2026 Experience: 7+ years We are seeking an experienced Environmental Geologist to support onshore projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will provide specialist geological and environmental expertise, supporting environmental assessments, site investigations and compliance activities. Duties & Responsibilities Conduct geological and environmental site assessments and investigations. Evaluate soil, groundwater and geological conditions and identify potential environmental risks. Support environmental impact assessments, remediation and monitoring programmes. Interpret geological and environmental data and prepare technical reports. Provide technical recommendations relating to environmental risks and site conditions. Work closely with environmental, engineering and other technical teams. Ensure activities comply with applicable environmental legislation, industry standards and HSE requirements. Support project documentation, data management and technical deliverables.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as an Environmental Geologist or in a similar role within Oil & Gas or related industries. Degree in Geology, Environmental Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of geological and environmental assessment techniques. Experience with environmental investigations, soil/groundwater assessment and monitoring. Good understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards. Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
