Coordinate the daily operation of the patisserie and cake shop to ensure smooth and efficient service. Provide personalized, professional, and attentive service to hotel guests and walk-in guests. Handle cake, pastry, dessert, and customized cake orders accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with the Pastry Chef and production team to ensure all orders are prepared according to guest specifications and delivered on time. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all cakes, pastries, chocolates, desserts, ingredients, allergens, flavors, and pricing. Recommend products and provide expert assistance to guests based on their preferences and occasions. Drive sales through effective upselling, cross-selling, and promotion of seasonal and signature products. Ensure the patisserie display, counters, shelves, and display cabinets are maintained to exceptional presentation standards. Monitor product availability, freshness, labeling, expiry dates, and presentation. Maintain accurate records of pre-orders, customized cakes, special requests, and customer preferences. Coordinate VIP, corporate, wedding, birthday, and special-event cake requirements. Process all sales transactions accurately through the POS system and follow cash-handling procedures. Assist with daily stock checks and coordinate replenishment of products and packaging materials. Ensure all takeaway cakes and pastries are professionally packaged, labeled, and presented. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally. Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Events, Sales, and other departments for special guest and event requirements. Support promotional campaigns, festive collections, new product launches, and special patisserie events. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel operating standards.
