JOB TITLEChef De Partie | Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment | Operations
ROLE SUMMARYTo oversee the back of house operations of the VOX Premium cinema product and manage the shift and staff. Responsible for the quality of all food and beverages served including the health and safety, presentation, timing of delivery and temperature. ROLE PROFILEMaintain high culinary standards and ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety policies. Support Sous Chef with stock rotation, inventory checks, and quality control of incoming produce. Provide guidance, training, and on-the-job support to Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff. Delegate daily tasks, oversee mise en place (MEP), and manage kitchen operations under pressure. Communicate clearly with cooks and ensure instructions are understood and followed. Foster strong working relationships with the Front of House (FOH) team and other departments. Report staffing or operational issues to management and assist with interdepartmental tasks as needed. Participate in staff development, including training and succession planning efforts.
REQUIREMENTSMin 3 years’ experience, Preferred experience in fine dining, 5-star hotels, or as cabin crew. Strong team player with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail under pressure. Committed to consistently delivering high-quality customer service in a professional and confident manner. Well-groomed with strong communication skills, especially in guest-facing environments like lounges. Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) and computer literate, particularly with MS Office and inventory systems. Holds a certificate, course, or diploma in the hospitality industry.
