Role Description The Orthopaedic Surgeon will provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including outpatient consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on spine and general orthopedics. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patients, ordering and interpreting imaging and laboratory tests, developing treatment plans, performing orthopedic and spine surgeries, and overseeing post-operative care and rehabilitation in collaboration with physiotherapy teams. The role also involves maintaining detailed medical records, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, and contributing to quality improvement and safety initiatives aligned with Aionis’s data-driven approach. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar, requiring active engagement with patients and clinical staff within the center. Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine, with board certification or equivalent specialization in Orthopedics or Orthopaedic Surgery. Demonstrated expertise in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedics, including management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Clinical and surgical experience in Spine-related pathologies and procedures is highly desirable. Valid medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in Qatar; completion of accredited orthopedic residency and fellowship training preferred. Proficiency in interpreting imaging studies (X-ray, CT, MRI) and using evidence-based clinical guidelines. Commitment to patient-centered care, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams. Experience in technology-enabled or data-driven clinical environments is an advantage; openness to integrating AI-supported diagnostics into practice. Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus, along with cultural sensitivity in a diverse patient population.
